Taking Deeper Root in Africa! KEDA (Ghana) Tile Phase V (K6 Line) and Sanitary Ware Phase I Project has Gone into Operation

The commencement ceremony of KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Co., Ltd. Phase V (K6 Line) and Sanitary Ware Phase I was held at 10:00 a.m. on August 23. Major leaders including General Manager of KEDA (Ghana) Li Wei, Factory Director Wei Feng, as well as project leaders, department heads and workshop heads attended the ceremony. With the official opening of the project, the development of KEDA (Ghana) Tile will usher in a new chapter.

KEDA (Ghana) Tile Phase V (K6 Line) plans to build a building tile production line covering a total area of about 150 acres, with a planned daily output of 40,000 to 50,000 square meters. The project is expected to be put into production in June 2023; Ghana Sanitary Ware Project plans to build a sanitary ware production line, covering a total area of about 60 acres, with a planned daily output of 4,000 sanitary wares. The project is expected to be put into production in March 2023. The total investment of these two projects is about 70 million dollars.

The continuous substantial additional investment not only demonstrates our long-term confidence in Ghana's development and our willingness to continue to take deeper root in Ghana and African markets, but also serves as a practical action to actively respond to the industrialization policy of the Ghanaian government. As a shot in the arm for Ghana's economy, the commencement of the project brings confidence to boost Ghana's economy and increases local employment!

In order to maintain the strong development momentum of overseas markets, seize hot overseas markets, and improve comprehensive competitiveness as well as profitability of the overseas building materials sector, the joint venture, under the layout and guidance of the "globalization" and "big building materials" strategies, took an active role in promoting the horizontal expansion of the company in the related diversified fields from building tiles to sanitary wares. At present, the company's overseas building materials business has achieved three breakthroughs in category, production line and production capacity respectively. The Large building materials group has begun to take shape with a promising future!
