KEDA (Tanzania) CERAMICS participated in the 3rd Pwani Investment Trade Fair 2022

Pwani is well known as an industrial region in Tanzania, having many industries in it. Hon. Exaud Kigahe, the deputy minister of Trade and Investments, said the 3rd Pwani Investment Trade Fair 2022 with the theme - Your Best Destination for Business and Investment - is intended to attract businesses and investments from across the world, pledging that Tanzania is ready to work with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) looking for markets for its products. Opening the trade fair in Dar es Salaam, Hon. Jakaya Kikwete, the 4th president of the United Republic of Tanzania, said Tanzania has the potential to exploit the market with its investment reforms and infrastructure development.



The 3rd Pwani Investment Trade Fair 2022 was succesful done in Maili moja grounds . The exhibition runs from October 5 through October 10, has attracted 150 foreign companies and 1,200 local firms displaying products, services and technologies used in the production of goods. A lot of officials are attracted to see, including Hon. Jakaya Kikwete (4th president of the United Republic of Tanzania), Hon. Exaud Kigahe (Deputy Minister: Trade and Investments), Hon. Abubakar Kunenge (Pwani RC), Hon. Nickson Simon (Kisarawe DC) and many more.





As one of the exhibitors, our company; KEDA (Tanzania) CERAMICS LTD fully participated and displayed our products and services. We were honored to be visited by almost all officials who attended the exhibition.Our Managing director, during the welcoming of Hon. Jakaya Kikwete to out booth, explained how our company plays a virtual role in stirring and enhancing livelihood and technological improvement in Pwani and the whole Tanzania at large. Our company creates over 1,000 empoyment opportunities with a production of more than 60,000 square meters a day. He also explained that the company has a plan of establishing the biggest factory for sanitary products in East Africa, here in Tanzania in the near future which will create more employment opportunities and welcome both domestic and international businesses.Moreover, the MD thanked the government of Tanzania under the leadership of H.E President Samia Suluhu Hassan for creating better environment for trade and investments. He assured that the company will keep working closely with the government and the whole Tanzania community. At the end, he thanked Hon. Jakaya Kikwete for making time to visit our booth and see our products and services.
