The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) held the highly anticipated 4th Chamber Business Awards ceremony on September 27, 2024 at the Accra International Convention Center. The theme of this event is “Adapting and Innovating in a Green Economy through Collaboration”. The event attracted leaders from various industries and recognized the outstanding contributions of businesses and individuals to Ghana’s economic growth.

Mr. Clement Osei Amoako, President of the Chamber of Commerce, and King Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II of the Greater Accra Region delivered important speeches at this award ceremony. They emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting green innovation and the close connection between business growth and environmental management, urging companies to adopt sustainable strategies to address climate change.

KEDA Ghana Ceramics Co., Ltd. won the 2023 Export Award with outstanding performance, and was personally awarded by the King’s representative. The award committee praised our company for establishing a leading position in the ceramic manufacturing industry. The company has made significant contributions in providing customers with high-quality products and services, creating employment opportunities, promoting technology transfer, leading industry standards, supporting government industrialization policies, export earnings, fulfilling social responsibilities, and replicating successful business models in neighboring countries.

Leaders from Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Commission, EU Mission, German International Cooperation (GIZ), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and other relevant organizations attended the award ceremony.

Since its establishment in 1888, the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) has had over 9000 members nationwide. It is a national association of business operators, companies, and industrial enterprises aimed at promoting and protecting Ghana's commercial and industrial interests, serving as a bridge between the private sector and various levels of government, and providing various business support services to Ghana's business community. Since its establishment, the Chamber of Commerce has played a crucial role in driving economic growth in Ghana.
