Keda Zambia Ceramics Co., Ltd. is located in the southern industrial park of Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, covering a total area of 320,000 square meters.
Recently, the K3 line project of Keda Zambia Ceramics Co., Ltd. was officially launched. This is the first expansion project of Keda Zambia Ceramics Factory since the K1 and K2 lines started in July 2020. The general manager of KEDA Cameroon MD Han Du and business manager éric Wang and factory director Zhu Quanfeng attended the project launch ceremony together with employees from various departments.
The first phase of the project covers an area of 160,000 square meters, including two production lines K1 and K2, with an average daily output of more than 30,000 square meters. It mainly produces ceramic tile products such as colored glaze, antique and polished glaze, which put into production in April and June 2021 respectively. .
The K3 line project covers an area of 160,000 square meters and has an investment of more than 2,217,516.40 ZMW （137,340.21 USD dollar）. The project is close to the K1/K2 line factory, with a planned average daily production capacity of 20,000 square meters (calculated based on 600×600mm specifications). The main product type is full-polished glazed tiles, and it can produce small-sized tiles of 30,000 square meters per day. The entire line of equipment has been ordered , It is expected to be put into production in May-June 2023.
After the K3 line is put into operation, the actual output of Zambia will exceed 60,000 square meters per day. The market covers Zambia, Malawi, South Africa and other neighboring countries. At the same time, more than 500 local jobs will be created, which will further promote the development of local related industries and economy. And strengthen the supply capacity of the company's sales network.
