In 2023, under the background that the Zambian government increased investment promotion to African Union countries, the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade of Namibia was invited to visit Zambia MEFZ Industrial Park, Lusaka on February 22th. Keda Zambia Ceramics Co., Ltd. was honored to be one of the 2 companies interviewed.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry – MCTI Zambia, accompanied a group of 35 people including the Namibia visitors to the conference room of the company. Business Manager Huang Hao briefly introduced the company's investment background, industrial layout, product category, market share, etc. During the period, the Minister of MCTI affirmed Keda Zambia Ceramics has contributed to a large increase in local employment and government tax revenue, Keda was regarded as a model enterprise in the industrial zone to Namibia.
During the meeting, Mrs. Lucia Iipumbu, the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade of Namibia, inquired about the company's product categories, market prices, sources of raw materials, etc. She was very interested in the tiles exhibited by our company. After the meeting, manager Huang Hao led the visiting officials to visit the production line, mainly Kiln workshop, Polishing workshop and Grading workshop process sections and answered the officials' questions in detail. Later, Huang briefly introduced the ceramic tile production process from raw materials, molding, glazing, polishing and grading, finally to finished product.
After the tour on site, the visit came to an end smoothly. The visit involved 5-6 local mainstream media, which was a good publicity opportunity in the local society. The company has also fully demonstrated its good corporate image and employees positive spirit. Through cooperating with the government, it has deepened mutual cooperation, strengthened mutual trust, and injected a boost to the company's future business development.
