VOSA Accelerates Digital Transformation at the 2025 Senegal Distributor Conference

Twyford Senegal recently hosted its annual regional distributor conference, marking an important step in the company’s digital strategy. This year’s event centred on the launch and practical rollout of the VOSA App, a new platform designed to support distributors with streamlined operations, efficient market management, and improved customer engagement.

The programme opened with an overview from TWYFORD Senegal’s management team, who outlined why digital adoption is now essential for distributors across the region. Drawing on real examples from daily operations, they highlighted long-standing challenges in traditional distribution models such as slow information flow, limited display capacity, pricing complexity, and inconsistent customer management. The VOSA App was introduced as an integrated solution that addresses these issues in a simple and unified digital environment.

Developed in 2021, the VOSA App aims to build a comprehensive platform for market promotion, channel oversight, and personalised user operations. It is a central component of TWYFORD International’s digital transformation plans for the Building Materials Business Center. The platform has already completed pilot projects in Kenya, Tanzania, and other markets, where it has received strong feedback for improving efficiency and supporting more informed commercial decision making.

During the conference, distributor representatives actively downloaded and tested the app. Many noted that it not only improves operational oversight but also acts as a practical digital bridge between distributors and end customers. Attendees commented that the platform aligns with their own plans for digital development while strengthening service quality and sales capability inside their stores.

“The launch of the VOSA App is a milestone in our distributor digital transformation journey. It is designed to optimise business processes and help establish a shared digital ecosystem with our partners,” said the Digital Project Lead at TWYFORD International. “We will continue refining app features, expanding data analytics, and working closely with distributors to build a more intelligent and efficient business model.”

Following the conference sessions, participants visited TWYFORD Senegal’s ceramic plant for an in-depth traceability tour. They observed the production line from raw material selection and body formation to glazing, high temperature firing, and final inspection. The visit demonstrated the company’s systematic quality control procedures, advanced manufacturing technology, and well organised warehousing and logistics operations.

“Seeing the modern production facilities first-hand has strengthened my confidence in the company’s manufacturing capability and in the products we offer to customers,” said one distributor representative. “The visit clearly showed the level of precision and quality management behind the brand.”

The 2025 distributor conference successfully reinforced distributor trust and strengthened the partnership network across the region. By combining a transparent look at TWYFORD Senegal’s manufacturing standards with the introduction of innovative digital tools, the event demonstrated the company’s ability to support its partners both operationally and technologically. This combination provides a strong foundation for future channel development, market expansion, and sustained growth.
