"KEDA Cup" basketball game 

From October 28th to 31st, 2022, the Zambia Tile Factory ushered in the first "KEDA Cup" basketball game. Eight teams represented by respective production departments were invited, including Press workshop, Kiln workshop, Glaze Line workshop and Grading&Polishing workshop. The match, which lasted for 4 days,adopted the elimination system in all stages.

The game result was a complete surprise. On the field,leaders of each workshop couched team members earnestly when players fought tenaciously.In order to carry out the tactics developed by the Chinese coach, players completed desperately even with insufficient competence. The screaming and cheering of cheerleaders, as well as local dance and singing in unison, kindle the passions of everyone present. After fully mobilization, the two teams were full of energy and ready to striving for success in the finals. In the end, the Glaze Line workshop made a magnificent turnaround and won the championship by slender 2 points.

Time was pressing. The notice period was short and the athletes had to fight without preparation in order to ensure active participation of  staff from each departments before the end of the technical transformation streaming. However, all players tried every effort and enjoyed the cooperation with their teammates in each match in successive 4 days, which showed the indomitable will of Zambia Tile Factory staff. The basketball game significantly improved team cohesion, strengthened the bond between Chinese and local employees, and enhanced staff's sense of Kodak identity.

It is particularly worth mentioning that management trainees had acted as key players in their teams. Besides outstanding athletic ability and  physical performance, they also had strong influence and team leadership. Daniel from Glaze Line workshop,monitor Innocent who had finished the localization,Elisha from Polishing workshop，and Vigrious from Polishing &Packaging workshop had given wonderful on-site performance, which was highly appreciated by the factory director MD.
